Johari Yahya is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Zelan Berhad.
He has been with MMC Group since 1996 and has served various Senior Management positions within the Group's subsidiary companies. Previously, he is the CEO of MMC Tepat Teknik Sdn Bhd. Looking back to his career history, he was the General Manager, Approval Management for the KVMRT - PDP for Line 1 MRT Project.
He first started his career with Malaysia Marine and Heavy Engineering Berhad (MMHB), Pasir Gudang, Johor as a Planning Engineer. Later, he joined Motorola (Penang) and shortly after that moved to PLUS in 1991. Johari Yahya is a graduate of Seoul National University, South Korea with a BSc. in Industrial Engineering.
