Badrulhisyam Fauzi is the Group Chief Financial Officer of MMC Corporation Berhad (MMC). He joined the Group Managing Director’s Office of MMC on 11 July 2011 and subsequently became Head, Group Strategy before assuming current position effective 1 July 2020. Besides Group Finance, Tax, Insurance and Treasury, he is also responsible for Group Human Resources & Administration and Information System Department. Badrul started his career as an Investment Analyst in Permodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB) and was the Head of Analysts for global equity research team in the International Fund Management Department before joining MMC.

Graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering in Computing from Imperial College London, Badrul is also a Chartered Financial Analyst charter holder of the CFA Institute. Additionally, he is a Chartered Global Management Accountant being a Fellow member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (FCMA) as well as a member of Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA).

Badrul currently is an Executive Committee member and Director of MMC Port Holdings Sdn Bhd (MMC Ports) and sits on the boards of its major port operators in Malaysia namely Johor Port Berhad, Northport (Malaysia) Bhd, Port of Tanjung Pelepas Sdn Bhd (PTP) and Tanjung Bruas Port Sdn Bhd. He is also a member of the Board of Saudi based Red Sea Port Development Company which operates Red Sea Gateway Terminal (RSGT) in Jeddah as well as RSGT Bangladesh which operates Patenga Container Terminal in Chittagong.

Additionally, he is also a member of the boards of logistics related companies namely Andaman Port Sdn Bhd, Kontena Nasional Berhad, KTMB MMC Cargo Sdn Bhd, Langkawi Cruise Terminal Sdn Bhd, Port Klang Cruise Terminal Sdn Bhd and Jakarta based PT Ritra Konnas Freight Centre.
