Dato' Azman Shah Mohd Yusof joined the MMC Port Holdings Sdn Bhd on 2 November 2015 and was assigned to NCB Holdings Berhad and Northport (Malaysia) Bhd as the Executive Director. He was later appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Northport (Malaysia) Bhd on 16 February 2016.
Dato' Azman started his career with Bank Negara Malaysia in 1992. He served the Government of Malaysia for more than 10 years, holding various positions in Bank Negara Malaysia, Pengurusan Danaharta Nasional Berhad and Corporate Debt Restructuring Committee.
In 2002, Dato' Azman became the corporate advisor and director of companies involved in real estate development, Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) management, hotel management, media, radio broadcasting, information technology and agricultural products. He was the founder of Malaysia's popular radio station FlyFM and director of Bukit Kiara Properties Sdn Bhd, Malaysia's leading real estate developer. In May 2010, he was appointed as the Head of Marketing and Corporate Services in Bolton Berhad (now known as the Symphony of Life), one of the oldest real estate development companies in Malaysia.
In 2011, Dato' Azman was appointed as an Independent Director of Integrax Berhad, a port management company in Lumut and was later appointed the Chief Executive Officer of Integrax in 2012.
Dato' Azman plays an active role in the industry and community associations. Currently he holds the position of Vice President of the London School of Economics (LSE) Alumni Association, executive council member of the Harvard Club of Malaysia and executive council member of the Malaysian Biomass Industries Confederation (MBIC).
Dato' Azman holds a Bachelor of Economics from the London School of Economics (LSE), United Kingdom. He also attended the "Macroeconomic Policy and Management" Executive Program at the Harvard University, USA.
